Right on the heels of Sunday’s Grammy win, Pentatonix member Kevin “K.O.” Olusola released a video of his wicked-clever rendition—or KOver version (see what we did just then?)—of Sam Smith’s “Stay With Me.”
The track, which jetted to #1 on the iTunes Classical chart immediately upon becoming available, is perhaps the ultimate example of an intricate technique Olusola has dubbed celloboxing. Rather than trying (and failing) to explain it, we urge you to watch this mind-blowing clip of the live performance, because this dude has chops for miles.
"Stay With Me" is the first single from KO’s upcoming debut release The Renegade EP, dropping 3/17 on RCA, and now available for preorder. The EP has climbed to #27 on the iTunes album chart.
