Biggest Social Entertainment Program of 2015

GRAMMY RATINGS: LET'S DO THE NUMBERS

Down a Bit From Last Year, but the Biggest Entertainment Show of the Year to Date on the Socials

The Grammy Awards were off a bit in the ratings according to the latest information from Nielsen, with CBS pulling 25.3 million viewers overall on Sunday, off about 11%.

The show averaged an 8.5 rating in adults 18-49, down 14% in the demo from 2014's telecast. However, Neilsen Social ranks the Grammys as the biggest entertainment program of the year to date, racking up more than 13.4 million comments on Twitter.

CBS dominated the major networks with triple the audience of the others (NBC-ABC-Fox) combined, but faced stiff competition from cable's AMC which aired the return of The Walking Dead and the series premiere of Breaking Bad spinoff Better Call Saul-- which went on to break cable audience records as the highest rated premiere ever.
