BEHIND THE POWER 100 PROTEST: EXPOSING THE INFIDELS

Speculation Abounds After Protesters Storm the Biz Bible's Barricades

Industry insiders have been speculating feverishly about the mysterious cadre of protesters who blocked the velvet rope on the red carpet at the biz bible's Power 100 event on Thursday night in Beverly Hills, causing alarm bells among the animal-print-clad event-planner staff.

It was a scene reminiscent of the barricade-storming sequence in Les Miserables, but with cell phones, no Russell Crowe and no singing.

Who were these rogue activists? Were they in fact members of the infamous 3LA (300 Liberation Army)? Were they a splinter group from the Violator camp, which was thought to have disarmed some years ago? Were they affiliated with the so-called "Moscovites"?

The industry figure depicted on the protesters' signs disclaimed all affiliation with the radical faction, and in fact offered a reward of a "420 deal" with his new company to anyone brave enough to expose the infidels behind the movement.

In any case, the uprising appears to be a genuine grassroots movement. Heavy on the grass.

Meanwhile, a major papparazzi site captured video footage of a certain industry mega-mogul and Power 100 top-fiver commenting on the uproar.
