JERRY’S WORLD TO HOST ACM AWARDS

The Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders were among those who announced the nominations for the ACM Awards this morning. That’s because the ACMs will be held this year at Jerry’s World, AT&T Stadium in Arlington, home of America’s Team. No word on whether New Jersey Governor Chris Christie will be in attendance.

Miranda Lambert leads the pack with eight noms; followed by Dierks Bentley with seven; Florida Georgia Line with five; and Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney and Eric Church with four apiece. Full list at www.acmawards.com/nominees. Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan will co-host the 4/19 CBS telecast, produced for TV by dick clark productions.

Fan voting for Entertainer of the Year begins on 4/8 at VoteACM.com and will close during the third hour of the live broadcast (it’s delayed on the West Coast). First-round fan voting for New Artist of the Year is now underway at VoteACM.com and voteacm.CMT.com, and will close on 2/10.

This will be the 50th annual ACM Awards, as the logo indicates. You know what the star stands for, football fans.
