Jonas has joined the cast of new Fox series called Screaming Queens from Glee and American Horror Story impresario Ryan Murphy.

MURPHY'S LAW

Nick Jonas, who already has one foot in the acting world with a regular role on the DirectTV drama Kingdom, has now been added to the cast of a new Fox series called Screaming Queens from Glee and American Horror Story impresario Ryan Murphy.

The hour-long comedy is set on a college campus that experiences a set of murders and debuts later this year. Jonas' castmates include Joe Manganiello, Lea Michele, Jamie Lee Curtis and Ariana Grande, who will also guest star in a recurring role. There's no word yet on the plot points or character Jonas will play but our bets are on at least a few scenes with his shirt off.

Jonas "Jealous" flew to #1 at Pop radio, and the Island artist's follow-up, "Chains" is at the format now; it's the second-biggest gainer on the brand new Shazam USA chart.
