Mumford rave in NYT

MUMFORD’S THE WORD: Sigh No More, the new album from Mumford & Sons, Glassnote’s latest coup, just got the seal of approval from N.Y. Times lead music critic Jon Pareles. “Their tunes echo sea chanteys, Celtic ballads, and jigs and reels, while also reaching across the Atlantic for bluegrass....Yet their dynamics aim for settings much bigger than porches or parlors; the songs are as volatile as grunge."
