JENNY ON THE BLOCK? Jennifer Lopez has split with Sony Music after spending most of her singing career at Epic Records, where she put out her debut, On the 6, in 1999, according to Deadline.com’s Nikki Finke. The parting was apparently amicable, but her new album, Love?, reportedly unfinished, will not come out on the label, after a pair of singles, “Fresh Out the Oven” and “Louboutins,” stalled on the charts. The release of the album was supposedly timed to her new CBS Films movie, The Back-Up Plan, now slated to hit theaters on April 23 after being postponed from January. Her manager Benny Medina is currently shopping a new deal, with L.A. Reid’s Island Def Jam mentioned as a possible destination. She will host and serve as musical guest on Saturday Night Live March 6. (2/22p)
