MTV's PUSH on Never Shout Never

IT’S NOW FOR NEVER: Warner Bros. is giving MTV’s new promotional initiative PUSH credit for a 61% rise in physical album sales experienced by its new act Never Shout Never, young Missouri singer/songwriter Christopher Ingle, whose debut album, What Is Love?, was released in January. Digital album sales were up 73%, the track “Can’t Stand It,” was up 182% and The Summer EP rose 55%, all directly attributable to MTV exec Amy Doyle’s 360-degree program. Upcoming acts for the initiative include Green Day's American Idiot on Broadway (4/5-11), B.o.B. (4/12-18), Neon Trees (4/19-25) and Trey Songz Unplugged (4/26-5/2). (4/6a)
