Col/Epc Ups Doneen Lombardi

DONEEN’S SCENE: Doneen Lombardi has been named SVP International Marketing for the Columbia/Epic Label Group by top dog Rob Stringer. Along with overseeing the day-to-day for the department, she’ll develop global marketing campaigns for the Columbia and Epic rosters. In her most recent role as VP Marketing, Lombardi guided the formation of the Blue Team, heading up recent campaigns for Adele, Avett Brothers, Boys Like Girls, Glee, Metro Station, MGMT and the Ting Tings. Doneen came to Columbia in ’06 from Virgin, where she’d been VP Marketing. “I am extremely excited about this amazing opportunity,” she said. “I am appreciative to Rob Stringer for his support, and I look forward to bringing my passion for Sony’s incredible artists to work on global strategies.” Commented Stringer: “Doneen is ideally suited to run our new international marketing department. She has been at the forefront of Columbia's recent artist development success and will carry this experience and creative strategy into her new role and build on the global reach of our label group roster.” (4/9a)
