Citi swings to profit

SHOW THEM THE MONEY: Symbolically rubbing it in Guy Hands’ face, the Dick Parsons-led Citigroup reported profit of $4.4 billion in its Q1 on revenue of $25.4 billion, the company’s highest net income since Q2 of 2007. The bank cited strong trading of bonds, equities and other securities for its dramatic turnaround, after getting hammered during the credit crisis and recession. (4/19a)
