MORE FOOLERY: According to Goodman, when Fuchs was subsequently ditched by Time-Warner's Gerry Levin for Terry Semel and Bob Daly, who added music to their film fiefdom, the two approached Morris to return to Warners, but at that point it was too late, as Doug had already joined Universal…where he was soon to acquire his pal Jimmy Iovine’s Interscope. The duo did apologize for the actions of Fuchs, and settled Doug’s exit from Warner on favorable terms to the departed Morris. (5/12p)
