Fox banking on Glee

THE FANTASTIC FOX CONNECTION: Fox’s presentation to advertisers Monday of its fall schedule was filled with Glee, the L.A. Times noted this morning in its continuing coverage of the TV networks’ upfronts. Not only is the network moving the show to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the hopes that it can bring an audience to two new sitcoms at 9 p.m., it’s also putting on Glee after the Super Bowl in February. This is great news for Rob Stringer and Sony Music, who will continue to get maximum marketing punch for the Glee series of albums. Fox announced several new shows in its schedule, but one of its most anticipated, Terra Nova from Steven Spielberg and Peter Chernin, has neither an air date nor a pilot yet. (5/18a)
