BEHIND THE WALL…OF SOUND: Imprisoned producer Phil Spector’s first recording project in three decades is the debut CD for his wife Rachelle Spector, Out of My Chelle, scheduled for release on the independent label Genius 4Ever Records with distribution through Rocket Science/RED. The album will be available for digital download on June 8 and in stores on July 20. "I trusted her with my life and songs and production,” Spector says of his wife. "She's fantastic on this album." The first single is “Here in My Heart,” which Rachelle dedicates to her husband, whom she insists is innocent. “Phil is actually far away, but he's still the shining light in my life, and I can always feel him here with me.” When Spector met Rachelle at Dan Tana’s after she arrived from Joe Namath’s hometown of Beaver Falls, PA, in 2003, to pursue a singing career, she had no idea who the legendary Wall of Sound producer even was. They married in 2006. Spector is currently serving a prison sentence for the murder of actress Lana Clarkson in 2003. (5/24a)
