Lady Gaga's new video

BACK IN VOGUE: Here, courtesy of Vevo, is “Alejandro,” the latest short-form cinematic opus from Lady Gaga, with a running time just under nine minutes. It was directed by photographer Steven Klein, who’s worked with Madonna a lot in the past, which inspired Showbiz 411 columnist Roger Friedman to riff on what he sees as the sincerest form of flattery on the part of Stephanie Germanotta, from the vocal processing to the look of the clip itself, which reminds him of “Vogue” or “Justify My Love.” Tribute or rip-off—you decide.
