THE EYES HAVE IT: Vevo racked up 48 million unique users in June—enough eyeballs to make the eight-month old venture the #3 video platform, according to comScore stats. On quarter of U.S. Internet users having now visited the site. This rapid growth positions Vevo especially well in the exploding online video market, Media Week points out, citing eMarketer projections that two-thirds of U.S. Internet users, or 147.5 million people, will watch some form of online video content at least once per month. By 2014, the number of U.S. online video viewers will represent 77% of Internet users, or 193.1 million people. (7/30a)
