Orchard Sold to Dimensional
ORCHARD SALE: Dimensional Associates is now the sole owner of digital distribuor the Orchard. The company’s shareholders approved the proposal of $2.05-per-share during yesterday's afternoon meeting in New York, with its common stock now delisted from Nasdaq. Dimensional is the private equity arm of JDS Capital Management. Orchard CEO Brad Navin told Digital Music News: "The company will remain focused on enhancing its delivery platform, expanding its digital business, and building products to make our clients more efficient marketers.” (7/30p)
