Urie & co. relaunch MRN

HOW SOON IS NOW? With the hearings on the newly introduced Combating Online Infringement and Counterfeits Act set to begin this Thursday in the U.S. Senate, the Music Rights Now online campaign is being relaunched in earnest, hoping to spur the legislative body to act. Since its inception some four months ago, the Music Rights Now campaign has spurred more than 15k in letters and emails, and those close to the situation, including UMGD’s Jim Urie, are intent on creating another wave of support for the anti-piracy movement.
