GLEEK PATROL: Last night’s Britney Spears episode of Glee generated five songs in the Top 10 and six in the Top 12 at iTunes today for Steve Barnett’s Columbia Records. The cover of Spears’ “Toxic” was #1, followed by “…Baby One More Time” (#6), “Stronger” (#9), “I’m a Slave 4 U” (#10) and “Me Against the Music” (#12). The one non-Britney selection, Lea Michele’s dynamic reading of Paramore’s “The Only Exception,” landed at #3, and also catapulted the band’s two original versions back up to #30 and #48. The Fox show finished second in its time period to CBS’ NCIS, with 13.3 million viewers and a 7.6, helping the network to the lead in adults 18-49 with a 4.2. (9/29p)
