Kid Rock Without iTunes

LIKE A ROCK: Kid Rock's two-week total of almost 300k for his new Atlantic Records album, Born Free, is even more remarkable given he remains one of the few holdouts from iTunes, a rapidly diminishing group that also includes his Motor City mate Bob Seger and AC/DC, among very few others, now that The Beatles have been digitized, to mixed results (see below). The largest music retailer in the country, Apple's online store accounts for nearly 30% of the market these days, while wonderers wonder if the Fab Four's presence has done anything in terms of determining a kids' decision to use Steve Jobs' music market.
