The release debuted at #1 on the Top Blues Album chart and remained there for 14 weeks. Lauper just kicked off the second leg of her blues-focused tour, which includes several of the legendary musicians who played on the album, like Charlie Musselwhite, Steve Potts, Archie "Hubbie" Turner and Charles "Skip" Pitts.
