Columbia Taps Three for Digital Mktg.

COLUMBIA TAPS THREE DIGITAL EXECS: Christian Schraga, Lars Murray and Kathy Baker have all been named VP Digital Marketing at Columbia Records, where they will all share a single iPhone. Schraga was upped from Sr. Director for SVP Mktg. Gregg Linn’s Red Team, where he will create and implement digital strategies and marketing campaigns for AC/DC, Neil Diamond, Celine Dion, Bruce Springsteen and Barbra Streisand, among others. Murray will join SVP Marketing Scott Greer’s Blue Team, which includes Avett Brothers, the Ting Tings, Jakob Dylan, the Offspring and Glasvegas, where he will be responsible for the creation and implementation of interactive, wireless and digital marketing strategies, as well as keeping track of John Mayer’s Tweets. Baker will also join Greer’s department for acts like Adele, Beyoncé, Maxwell, Glee and Roc Nation’s Willow and J. Cole. She will be responsible for the direction of digital products, from concept to execution, in support of Columbia's business goals and strategic marketing. (1/14p)
