Jersey Shore spinoffs

SORTA LIKE THE GODFATHER PART TWO: MTV has green-lighted a pair of Jersey Shore spin-offs, one featuring DJ Pauly D (whose parents know him as Paul DelVecchio), the other featuring Snooki and JWoww (who sign their paychecks as Nicole Polizzi and Jenni Farley). Each show will “chronicle the lives all three lead away from their summer shares and housemates,” according to the press release. MTV has ordered 12 episodes of each show. The fourth season of the hugely popular reality series, being shot in Italy, will air later this year. (4/8a)
