Detroit's Bad to the Bone

BAD TO THE BONE: Martz Communications Group has launched a new Modern Rock station, "94.3 The Bone" in Detroit, simulcasting on 107.5 WGPR HD-3. On its new website at 943thebone.com, The Bone takes shots at crosstown Modern Rock rival CIMX (89X). Martz' Drew Scott is currently overseeing the station, which is running jockless. Currents include Arcade Fire’s “We Used to Wait,” AWOLNATION’s “Sail,” Foo Fighters’ “Rope” and Cold War Kids’ “Louder Than Ever” on its playlist. (4/21p)
