MySpace enables transfer to Facebook

MYSPACE CRIES UNCLE: MySpace Music has released a new program that lets artists transfer their music and profiles onto Facebook. The program will port full-length tracks, videos, photos, touring info and other data for all of the 14 million (!) artist profiles living on MySpace. The pitch on the site describes “Powerful, eye-catching Facebook artist pages, powered by your Myspace profile. Wow your fans with a fully customizable, content-rich Facebook presence. Instantly publish your Myspace songs, videos, photos, events and blogs to your Facebook artist page. To get started, you need to have a Facebook account and be the administrator of at least one Facebook page.” (5/12a)
