Berry Gets Expanded Role at UMD

BERRY GETS MORE JUICE: Veteran sales and marketing exec Candace Berry is named EVP/GM of Universal Music Distribution from her former post as EVP Sales and Marketing at the company. She reports to UMGD President/CEO Jim Urie. Berry will now take a larger role in managing UMGD's physical and digital distribution businesses with Apple, Amazon, Wal-Mart, Best Buy, Target, VEVO and Rhapsody, while continuing to oversee the company's sales and marketing teams. Prior to that, Berry was head of sales at Interscope Geffen A&M, VP Sales at Zoo Records and served as BMG Distribution National Marketing and Arista Regional Sales. (5/23p)
