THE TRILL OF IT ALL: Southern hip-hop company Trill Entertainment has inked an exclusive distribution deal with UMG’s indie Fontana. The full-service hip-hop entertainment group, founded in Louisiana and now based in Atlanta, is a well-established platform for emerging artists, including "the Tupac of the South," Lil Boosie as well as Webbie, Foxx, Shell, Mouse, Lil’ Trill, Lil’ Phat and Kim McCoy. Upcoming releases include highly anticipated albums from Webbie in November and Lil Boosie in early 2012. The company recently expanded with the launch of Trill Films, whose first movie was Ghetto Story, starring Mike Epps, Hoops (Flava of Love), Bun B and Paul Wall.
