Jobs Movie Airs on TNT

JOBS REMEMBERED: The Steve Jobs tributes continue. Now cable network TNT will preempt its primetime lineup for two back to back airings at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. tonight of its 1999 made-for-TV movie Pirates of Silicon Valley, the only movie to date that portrays the technology guru. The plot follows the race between computer rivals Apple and Microsoft and stars Noah Wyle as Jobs, Anthony Michael Hall as Microsoft founder Bill Gates and Joey Slotnick as Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak. Lots of tongues wagging about a possible Hollywood biopic in the wake of Jobs’ death yesterday from cancer at the age of 56. (10/6p)
