VEVO TAPS MACNIE: Veteran music journalist Jim Macnie has joined VEVO in the newly created post of Editorial Director. Based in N.Y. and reporting to VP Original Content and Programming Scott Reich, Macnie will oversee all editorial direction, including creating and maintaining a consistent voice on VEVO’s online, mobile, tablet and connected TV platforms. Macnie worked for nearly a decade as Managing Editor of VH1.com. His cover stories, articles and reviews have appeared in the N.Y. Times, L.A. Times, Boston Globe, Elle and Village Voice.
