NARM Taps Isquith for Digital Post

ISQUITH GOES DIGITAL: NARM’s digitalmusic.org, the virtual home of the music business association’s digital initiatives, have named industry vet Jack Isquith Chair of its Music Subscription Work Group, it was announced by VP Digital Strategy and Business Development Bill Wilson. Isquith is SVP of Strategic Development at Slacker Radio and previously served as Warner Bros. SVP of Digital Music, where he drove 13 straight quarters of revenue growth. In this new post, Isquith will address the operational and business concerns of cloud-based, monetized music sources. Isquith got his start at pioneering online music retailer CDNOW, where he served as Director of Talent and Music Industry Relations.There, he launched media content offerings such as WebSessions and CDNOW Interviews, which helped increase site traffic by 75% in three years. He also worked as Executive Director of AOL Music and AOL Radio, where he conceptualized and executed the site’s coverage of Live 8, the most-watched concert in online history. (10/20p)
