Jim Ladd Exits KLOS

WILL THE LAST DJ TURN OUT THE LIGHTS? Jim Ladd, the legendary classic rock DJ who spent the last 14 years at KLOS L.A., has left the station in the latest Cumulus housecleaning. Ladd, who appeared on and inspired the Tom Petty title track to his 2002 album, The Last DJ, told the Orange County Register: "My disappointment is I didn't have a farewell show. I was very stunned and I still am. I have been through this before, but it is always traumatic." (10/27p)
