THE MOUSE THAT ROARED: Next Wednesday night (11/2), PBS will premiere Steve Jobs – One Last Thing, a documentary the network describes as taking an unflinching look at the Apple chief’s difficult, controlling disposition, while seeking to learn how he became such an iconic, successful innovator in both business and technology. Among the highlights is a previously unseen 1994 interview in which Jobs shared a personal epiphany: “You tend to get told that the world is the way it is, but life can be much broader once you discover one simple fact; and that is that everything around you that you call life was made up by people no smarter than you… Once you learn that, you’ll never be the same again.” And on Dec. 3, PBS will premiere Buddy Holly: Listen to Me/The Ultimate Buddy Party, featuring performances of his songs by Stevie Nicks, Chris Isaak, Lyle Lovett, Graham Nash, Raul Malo, Paul Anka, Boz Scaggs and several others at a 75th birthday concert taped last month at the Music Box in Hollywood.
