CONWAY’S CONVOY: There’s an all-new A&R team in place at BMG Chrysalis’ L.A. offices. It’s headed up by SVP Creative West Coast Lionel Conway, a respected veteran who founded and oversaw pubcos for Island and Maverick and most recently headed Stage Three Music, which was acquired by BMG Rights Management last year. Working with Conway are Jon Sidel, a former A&R exec at V2 and Interscope also known for opening such hip restaurants and bars as Jones, Swingers and El Carmen; and Damon Bunetta, who did A&R for Mercury and Interscope and co-founded Family Affair Productions.
