A FIRE IN HER (JELLY) BELLY: Last night at her sold-out concert at Largo, L.A.-based singer/songwriter and recent MTV award winner Kina Grannis unveiled her "Secret Crazy Project"—a wildly ambitious stop-motion animated video for her song "In Your Arms" made from 288k Jelly Belly jellybeans. Painstakingly directed by Greg Jardin, the clip is composed of 2,460 frames, filmed across 1,357 hours and, as the final frame of the video suggests, also includes exactly one Kina Grannis. Click here to watch a behind-the-scenes footage of the making of the video. Beginning at 3:00 pm PT this afternoon, Kina will host a live concert on her popular YouTube channel (nearly 500k subscribers and 80 million cumulative views), during which she’ll talk about the making of the video and field questions via her social networks. The event will be streamed globally and hosted by Topspin's Ian Rogers. (11/3a)
