Spotify Radio Launches

SPOTIFY ON THE RADIO: Spotify CEO Daniel Ek unveiled a revamped Spotify Radio service last week at Le Web in Paris, offering customizable streaming audio similar to Pandora. While the company has had a "radio" option in its applications, the new version allows users to save songs to playlists, repeat songs on demand, and skip between stations and tracks. Users can create a station by clicking "Start Artist Radio" atop any artist page or clicking "Radio" in the left sidebar in the new "Spotify Apps" section. The new feature is being rolled out to all users, with a premium account not required, though the number of stations and skips a user can make will be limited unless they upgrade to paid accounts.
