Directors' Guild Announcements
DGA SAYS ACTION: Directors Guild President Taylor Hackford announced the group’s five nominees for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Feature Film, offering a real clue to the Oscar noms, which will be announced Tuesday, Jan. 24, with all ballots due in this Friday (1/13). The nominees are Woody Allen (Midnight in Paris), David Fincher (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo), Michel Hazanavicius (The Artist), Alexander Payne (The Descendants) and Martin Scorsese (Hugo). The Academy Awards will be handed out on ABC Feb. 26. (1/9p)
