RUMOUR HAS IT: The N.Y. Times has echoed I.B. Bad’s assertion last week that Adele will be sufficiently recovered from November throat surgery to perform on the Grammy Awards telecast—basing the claim on some rather persuasive circumstantial evidence. On Thursday, Adele tweeted that she was “looking forward” to the Grammys on Feb. 12, and she attached a promo poster with her picture on it. Shortly thereafter, it was announced—officially—that she would be singing at the Brit Awards, which take place a week later. So far, no confirmation from Columbia, but it looks like a done deal.
