KOBALT TAPS SANDERS: Veteran record exec Richard Sanders has been named President of Kobalt Music Group by Founder’/CEO Willard Ahdritz, to whom he’ll report. The N.Y.-based Sanders will oversee global front office operations, artist relations, business development, synch licensing and creative services across the company’s multiple rights divisions, including publishing, artist and label services and neighboring rights. Sanders was previously Sony Music Chairman of International and President of Global Marketing, where he oversaw the global company’s 43 operating units ex-U.S., with #1 market share in 12.
