Sacha Baron Cohen vs. The Oscars

VIRAL VIDEO OF THE DAY: Sacha Baron Cohen as His Excellence Admiral General Aladeen of the mythical Middle Eastern country of Wadiya responds to the ban on his attendance at this Sunday's Oscar Awards by blasting the Academy of Arts and Zionists. Apparently, he can walk the red carpet in character, but won’t be permitted to sit in the audience in costume. Funny, that didn’t seem to stop Cher back when she came almost naked. Anyway, it’s just part of Cohen’s brilliant marketing campaign for his summer movie, The Dictator. He will attend Brett Ratner’s after-party, though. (2/24p)
