Two New EVPs at BMG LA

ONWARD AND UPWARD IN THE ARTS: BMG Chrysalis is solidifying its executivecreative team on the West Coast, President Creative & Marketing Laurent Hubert announced. Lionel Conway will be promoted to EVP Creative, West Coast, while David Hirshland, formerly President of Bug Music, will be named EVP Client Services. One of the most respected creative executives in the business, Conway came to BMG through the acquisition of Stage 3 and has been instrumental in setting up and consolidating the pubco’s West Coast creative operations. He’ll oversee all repertoire development and acquisition activity based out of the company’s L.A. offices. Hirshland, a 17-year Bug veteran, will oversee that company's client roster as well as providing administrative and creative expertise to BMG writers, clients and estates. BMG Chrysalis recently consolidated its West Coast operations in the former Bug offices at 6100 Wilshire Blvd., which has awesome views of the city. (2/29a)
