Billboard Exodus Continues

BILLBOARD EXODUS: The flood of editors and writers leaving the industry bible Billboard continues apace with deputy editor Louis Hau and editor-in-chief Danielle Smith both exiting over the last two weeks. Among the others who have recently departed include publisher Lisa Howard, editorial assiatant Jillian Mapes, executive director of Content and Programming Anthony Bruno and social/streaming chart manager Kyle Bylin, now at Live Nation Labs. Prometheus President of Brand and Business Development Howard Applebaum departed last year to become President of Nielsen Entertainment amid word the parent company is having severe buyer's remorse over its acquisition of the music trade, part of a group which includes Hollywood Reporter and Adweek.
