Three Million iPads Sold

CAN THREE MILLION IPAD BUYERS BE WRONG? Not even hot cakes sell this quickly. Apple announced it has sold three million of the third iteration of its iPad since its launch on Friday (3/16). The new iPad features a new Retina display with quad-core graphics, a 5 megapixel iSight camera and 1080p HD video, with a 10 hour battery life. “This is the strongest iPad launch yet,” said Apple SVP of Worldwide Marketing Philip Schiller. “We can't wait to get it into the hands of even more customers around the world this Friday.” (3/19p)
