Neil Young Releases Americana

FOREVER YOUNG: Americana, an album of classic folk songs and the first disc Neil Young has made with his band Crazy Horse (Billy Talbot, Ralph Molina and Poncho Sampedro) in nearly nine years, will come out June 5. The set will include 19th century "protest songs," "murder ballads" or campfire-type anthems passed down "with universal, relatable tales for everyman," like “Tom Dooley” and “Oh Susannah,” along with the complete version of Woody Guthrie's “This Land Is Your Land.” Neil has penned brief historical details about each of the songs on the album, which can be found here.
