Jordan Schur's Next Movie Project

ANOTHER SCHUR THING: Paul Walker, Matt Dillon, Brendan Fraser, Elijah Wood, Vincent D’Onofrio, Thomas Jane, Lukas Haas and Ashlee Simpson have joined the cast of director Wayne Kramer’s Pawn Shop Chronicles. The film, being produced by one-time Flip Records and Geffen chief Jordan Schur under the banner of his own Mimran Schur Pictures, is “a dark comedy about a man searching for his abducted wife, a couple of white-supremacist meth heads and a sad sack Elvis impersonator all linked through items sold or found in a small Southern town’s local pawn shop.” Said Schur: “This is a superbly written mind-bender of a story that grabs you from the first line, and doesn’t let go. We are incredibly fortunate to have found Wayne Kramer to present it, and equally thrilled with the diverse and talented cast assembled. And if Fred Durst calls, will you tell him I’m not in?” Schur's previous film projects include Stone, starring Edward Norton and Robert DeNiro, Henry's Crime and Warrior, for which Nick Nolte received an Oscar nomination.
