HILL TOPPERS: Meanwhile, back in the States, the Senate Judiciary's Antitrust Subcommittee has announced the witnesses for next Thursday's hearing on the merger of UMG and EMI, and it’s quite a posse: Universal chieftain Lucian Grainge, EMI topper Roger Faxon, Live Nation/Ticketmaster emperor Irving Azoff, WMG’s Edgar Bronfman (who’s listed as “director,” whatever that means), Beggars Group Chairman Martin Mills and Gigi Sohn, president of public advocacy org Public Knowledge.
