Brantley Gilbert Scores Second #1

BRANTLEY BRANCHES OUT: Emerging Country singer/songwriter star Brantley Gilbert just scored his second chart-topping single as an artist with “You Don’t Know Her Like I Do,” and his fourth as a writer, with the Valory Music Co. album, Halfway to Heaven, now at 600k. The third single, “Kickin’ It in the Sticks,” has already grabbed 11 million YouTube views even before going to radio. Gilbert’s currently on tour with Toby Keith and will be headlining his first arena tour this fall. Nice work by Rich Egan’s Nashville-based Hard 8 management in partnership with CAM principal Jordan Feldstein. (7/10p)
