TwentyForSeven on next Opening Act

OPENING ACT PART II: The second installment of Opening Act, the reality music show created by EA’s Steve Schnur and executive produced by Nigel Lythgoe, premieres tonight on E! at 10 p.m. (EST/PST). The show features the Canton, OH, rock band TwentyForSeven, who were discovered on YouTube and picked to open for Gym Class Heroes. Guitarist and co-vocalist Blake Hayes describes the band’s sound as "an awkward but pleasant marriage of pop-punk with Top 40 pop." Look for Lady Gaga on next week’s episode. Below is a video of TwentyForSeven’s cover of Maroon 5’s “Payphone” with Wiz Khalifa. (7/16p)
