OPENING ACT’S CLOSING NIGHT: Tonight’s finale of Opening Act, the music reality show created by EA’s Steve Schnur with executive producer Nigel Lythgoe, features Kansas City performer Von Smith, whose mother is an “overbearing” Jehovah’s Witness with a belief the only person one should honor on-stage is God himself.
