Karmin on Cover of Rolling Stone

KARMIN GETS STONE: It’s another cover for a band that broke through with their YouTube takes on Chris Brown’s “Look at Me Now.” Now, look at Karmin’s Amy Heidemann, who will grace the “flip” cover of Rolling Stone’s new “Women Who Rock” issue, winning the competition over runner-up Rita Ora, and hitting newsstands Sept. 28. The portrait was shot by acclaimed photographer Max Vadukal. The Epic Records duo’s second single, “Hello,” just hit #1 on the dance/club play chart, while the first single, “Brokenhearted,” is double platinum in Australia and platinum in Canada, as well as a Top 10 radio hit in Asia and the U.K. The band has also been chosen by MTV as a global PUSH artist. Look for a Dancing with the Stars performance Oct. 9, with upcoming holiday network TV appearances on NBC's Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and ABC's New Year’s Rockin’ Eve. (9/25p)
