Stones new single out

RESTART ME UP: "Doom and Gloom," the Rolling Stones’ first new song in seven years (see 10/10 item below), is all yours for $1.29 at the iTunes Store (we don’t see it yet on Amazon MP3), and it’ll be interesting to see whether it shows up on the iTunes Top Songs chart. According to Rollingstone.com, Mick Jagger’s lyric concerns class tensions and oil fracking, while Keith Richards busts out a riff that recalls Sticky Fingers, and Charlie Watts propels the whole thing with an unfussy, rock-solid beat. Here’s the newly posted lyric video. (10/11a)
