Norton Records Underwater

AFTER THE FLOOD: Brooklyn-based Norton Records, the vintage rock and roll vinyl/CD indie label and book publisher owned by ex-Cramps and Zantees drummer Miriam Linna and husband Billy Miller, saw their Red Hook warehouse decimated in last week’s storm. The company, which celebrated its 30th anniversary last year, has put out records by everyone from Hasil Adkins and Esquerita to the Flamin’ Groovies and Sun Ra. The label welcomes volunteers to help it save water-damaged vinyl by wiping the discs down and transferring them to dry sleeves. More details in the video below. (11/5p)
